Specie Overview

PERSONALITY: Very Intelligent, full of energy and playful loves playing fetch or other interactive games, loves spending time with you. They are very affectionate to the person(s) they bond to, and they can coincide with other animals they grow up with or learn they can trust.

Each Serval is like a person they are all different have their own likes and dislikes. It is very much like adopting a human child.

 

AVERAGE WEIGHT: 20 to 40 pounds

AVERAGE LENGTH: 24"-30" (Excluding Tail)

COAT LENGTH: Short (Fine to Thick) this will depend on the region they originated from.

​

COAT COLORS:  Golden yellow to cream with black spots and stripes that are like birth marks each is slightly different. Melanistic and White are seen but extremely rare.

​

COAT PATTERNS: Spotted with some stripes usually on the legs with a beautiful unique necklace under their chin.

​

EARS: Large with rounded tips the back side the "Ocelli" black with a defined almost white spot in the center. 

​

LEGS: Longest to any cat relative to its body size.

​

NOSE: Big inky black nose with tear marks to a patterned nose with pink.

​

SPEED: can achieve 45-50 MPH 

 

EYE COLOR: Copper, Amber, Pale Green and Blue.

 

LIFESPAN: Around 20 years in captivity

 

HYPOALLERGENIC: No
